Overflows, Supercrawl, Hamilton, Ontario (Canada) 2016
Playfully, with a touch of irony, the Overflows installation gathers together an impressive amount of colorful objects from our daily environments. The monumental work erected in the middle of the street, in a quite crowded area, faces the visitor with the notions of expansion and excess. This installation is perceived as seducing and playful, but at the same time, it questions the fleetingness of things and our sometimes excessive tendency to consume and pile up objects of all kinds.
