The observatory, Grand Falls - Windsor in Newfoundland, Canada - 2011

A temporary starting point reveals aspects of our everyday environment most often ignored with the aim of making visible the next stage of the space invested; with special attention to people, the geography and memory, to understand the impacts of climate change specific.

A series of lookouts invite to discover the landscape, to observe the fauna and the flora environment, to take a look around from higher, poetic and original viewpoints to the landscape, in order to create a magical breakthrough to the river. The crude wooden structures will give echo the river architecture.

The intervention project présents itself as a temporary structure in situ, a basic construction in mid-completed. In appearance at least, the wooden buildings invite you to stroll and offer walkers different types of experiments on the place, like a trail or ambulatory.

A journey: the visitor pulls himself up gradually and reaches platforms and walkways on which are established an observation post which allow the walker to experience an immersion in the nature.
