La colección, CAFKA.14 – Contemporary Art Forum Kitchener and Area, University of Waterloo School of Architecture, Cambridge, Ontario (Canada) 2014

Staged within the Melville Courtyard of the school of architecture, this monumental, site-specific installation functions as a poetic assemblage of local collective memory. Built entirely from materials found and donated by community members, the artwork integrates daily fragments to challenge the geometric rigidity of its architectural surroundings. By repurposing these objects from their original utility, the intervention establishes an ephemeral, participatory architecture that probes identity, accumulation, and human traces. La colección acts as a space for dialogue and a social mirror, where the hétérogénéité of its parts becomes a symbol of a community in perpetual construction.
